So this app design was originally for a tour of Paris. The app had a picture from Paris on the home screen. The app incorporated a drop down menu to for the user to select a famous location in Paris. When clicked the webviewer element at the bottom of the screen showed the selected location on Google maps.
I decided to change the app to make it more personal. I currently live on Route 66 and I thought about making them app many locations on Route 66. After realizing that would take quite a bit of time, I decided to just make it about the town i live in on Route 66. This app now has two buttons one that links to a website telling all about the history of our little town as well as the list button where the user is allowed to select various locations around town. The webviewer at the bottom shows these locations on Google maps.
