This week I worked on a couple of games! These were fun to manipulate this week.
For the first game. The user moves the car with the arrow keys and clicks the space bar to fire bullets at the birds. The game originally started with two bird sprite that were each cloned. I added a third bird that had a clone as well. I made this bird have the ability to move more steps so it moves faster across the screen. I also changed the color of the bird to black. When the user hits this bird they score 3 points, when they hit the other birds they only score 1.
This game began as a simulator. This allows the user to show the distance over time when the projectile is set to various speeds and angles. To make this a game, I added a floating cloud where the user will earn points when the ball touches the cloud. This is very challenging which makes the game fun!
